Experience of a producer of sugar cane in San Isidro Mazatepec Municipality of Tala, Jalisco. Mexico
My name is Juan Pablo Avila Reyes and I have been growing sugar cane for 20 years. The beginning of the planting season in this region, is in the month of November, that is when there is enough humidity for a good germination of the seed and in the month of December of the following year is when we normally harvest the sugar cane.
through some friends I met Mr Dale Chrisley and he told me about some products he had developed for the agriculture industry. The products interested me because product are a hydro-gel that supposedly prolonged the duration of the humidity in the soil and could be mixed with nutrients to improve the production of the crops.
After Mr Chrisley learned that I was a farmer and grew sugar cane, ask if I would be interested in doing a test, I said that this is not the time to plant because it is already in the middle of the month of March, and because of the lack of humidity in the ground. Mr Chrisley said that he wanted to do the test anyway, he wanted to apply the hydro-gel, I said O.K. and prepared the field. It was prepared in a deep furrow in which he applied a little quanity of mixture of organic soil which he had prepared and applied it in the bottom of the furrow, I sowed the seed on top of the organic soilwhich had been applied to the bottom of the furrow. he covered the seed with the hydro-gel and finally covering the with a layer of the ground from the field.
The test was surprising, 30 days after the seed was planted, the cane seed had germinated and was comming out of the ground and it was the same size as the cane planted during the month of past November, when it came time to harvest or cut the cane it was equal in diameter and size as the cane planted in November.
it is because of that test I do not doubt, because it is evident that the products produced by Mr Chrisley I recomend their use extensively.
I have seen the works of the products and with no reservations have any doubt of their performance.
